Actualmente hay unos 4 millones de hornos solares instalados en el mundo, que evitan 5.8 millones de toneladas de CO\u2082 al a\u00f1o.<\/li>\n<li>Un horno solar de tipo caja concentra la luz en un receptor oscuro, alcanzando 65 \u2013 180 \u00b0C en condiciones \u00f3ptimas.<\/li>\n<li>A partir de 65\u00b0C es posible pasteurizar l\u00edquidos, A 100 \u00b0C hierve el agua, permitiendo cocinar vegetales y entre 150 \u2013 180 \u00b0C, hornear pan y carnes garantizando textura y sabor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Objetivo<\/h2>\n<p>Evaluar la viabilidad t\u00e9cnica de un horno solar tipo caja en San Pedro Sula, Cort\u00e9s, a trav\u00e9s del monitoreo continuo de las temperaturas internas alcanzadas durante el d\u00eda solar, considerando la irradiaci\u00f3n solar disponible.<\/p>\n<h2>Metodolog\u00eda<\/h2>\n<p>Para este estudio experimental con un enfoque cuantitativo. Se construyeron dos hornos solares siguiendo las instrucciones propuestas por el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID). Seg\u00fan se muestra en la figura 1.<\/p>\n<p>Se recolectaron datos de temperatura en grados Celsius (\u00b0C) en dos sectores diferentes de San Pedro Sula: el sector sureste y el noreste, durante dos d\u00edas consecutivos en el mes de abril del 2025. Utilizando la c\u00e1mara termogr\u00e1fica (Fluke) PTi129 y un term\u00f3metro digital infrarrojo.<\/p>\n<h2>Resultados<\/h2>\n<p>Las mediciones de temperatura e irradiancia solar del 3 y 4 de abril de 2025 muestran que, entre las 09:00 y las 14:00 h, la irradiancia alcanz\u00f3 un pico de 1050 W\/m\u00b2 en ambos d\u00edas, mientras la temperatura media oscil\u00f3 entre 22\u00b0C y 32\u00b0C, con escasas ca\u00eddas bajo 20\u00b0C o picos por encima de 35\u00b0C.<br \/>\nEn la tabla 1, se observa que a partir de las 9:00 horas la temperatura interna en el horno solar.<\/p>\n<h2>Conclusiones\/Recomendaciones<\/h2>\n<p>Las temperaturas internas m\u00ednimas alcanzadas por el horno solar fueron de 77\u00b0C en el noreste y de 110\u00b0C en el sureste y las temperaturas internas m\u00e1ximas registradas son 132 \u00b0C y 141\u00b0C respectivamente, en el noreste y sureste, superando la temperatura m\u00ednima requerida para la cocci\u00f3n de alimentos demostrando ser una alternativa sostenible en zonas aisladas sin electrificaci\u00f3n.
