At the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana - UNITEC, we are proud to announce our new collaboration with the Institute for Access to Public Information (
Instituto de Acceso a Información Pública - IAIP in spanish), aimed at strengthening professional development across Honduras. Through this strategic partnership, we are enhancing the
Unidos program at UNITEC's Center for Employability, an initiative designed to bridge the gap between the academic sector and the public sector.
The
Unidos program is dedicated to providing our students with both practical and theoretical learning experiences that better prepare them for the workforce. Thanks to this collaboration, participants will develop essential skills that will facilitate their professional growth and integration into the job market. In return, IAIP staff will benefit from educational opportunities designed to support their personal and professional development, ensuring they stay current in their respective fields.
During the agreement signing, both UNITEC authorities and IAIP commissioners emphasized the importance of this partnership in advancing human talent development in Honduras. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to creating educational opportunities that contribute to the sustainable growth of our country.
Roxana Espinal, UNITEC's Vice Rector of Engagement, shared,
"We are thrilled to formalize our collaboration with IAIP, as we strongly believe in the power of cooperation between the academic world and the public sector. This partnership will strengthen access to educational programs that foster professional development and contribute to the sustainable progress of Honduras."
Our partnership with IAIP represents our ongoing commitment to providing both practical and theoretical training opportunities that address workforce needs. We aim to strengthen the preparation of highly skilled professionals capable of meeting the challenges of today’s market.
