At UNITEC, we are excited to announce the official launch of our new Scientific Journal Portal, powered by SCImago’s Open Journal System. This portal represents a significant milestone in Honduras’s academic landscape, as it is the first digital platform of its kind dedicated to the management and dissemination of scientific journals.

Our portal is now live at https://revistas.unitec.edu/, and we’re proud to host two institutional journals:

Revista INNOVARE: A journal focused on science, technology, and innovation across all disciplines. Innovare is an open-access, multidisciplinary, bilingual journal published semiannually, and it utilizes a double-blind peer review system.

Revista TEKNÉ: A journal dedicated to social sciences and humanities. Tekné is a unidisciplinary, open-access journal published in Spanish, also using a double-blind peer review process.

We’ve designed this portal to provide an intuitive and accessible experience for researchers, students, and professionals, both in Honduras and internationally. Here’s what you can expect:

We invite researchers, faculty, students, and professionals from Honduras and around the world to subscribe to our journals and submit their manuscripts. The portal offers a free platform for submitting, publishing, and downloading scientific articles, and one of its key features is continuous publication, which significantly reduces manuscript review and publication times.
